SEOPress · Setup and verification
Use FounderPostAI with SEOPress
The short answer: Keep SEOPress active. FounderPostAI saves approved SEO titles and descriptions into its native fields, while SEOPress continues to render the page’s metadata. Start with one published post and check both the saved field and public page before expanding.

Worked example
Follow one description from approval to output
Prepared example: “Read our gardening tips” becomes “Learn where to place a compost bin and how to balance green and brown materials.” Check the same approved wording at each stop.
01 · Review queue
Approve the description in AI Suite → SEO.
02 · SEOPress editor
Reload the post. Its native meta description field should contain the approved wording.
03 · Public page source
Find the meta name="description" tag. Check its value and whether a competing tag is present.

Before adding a second AI workflow, review SEOPress’s own AI features, including metadata generation and bulk actions. Vendor details checked September 21, 2026.
Who this workflow is for
- Best for
- SEOPress users who want a separate suggestion review queue
- Works with
- Core + SEO, WordPress 6.5+, PHP 7.4+, and SEOPress
- Practical outcome
- One approved change verified in storage and public output
What matters in practice
Choose the workflow, then check the handoff
Start with what you already have
SEOPress offers its own AI metadata generation and bulk actions. If that already meets your needs, you may not need another suggestion tool.
- Compare review steps on the same small content sample
- Use FounderPostAI for its review queue and local GEO tools when useful
Keep one metadata owner
With SEOPress detected, FounderPostAI writes the approved title and description to SEOPress and suppresses its own standalone metadata output.
- SEOPress keeps its sitemap and schema settings
- Use one primary SEO plugin; do not activate several competing providers
Keep the costs separate
Core and SEO are free downloads. FounderPostAI’s AI suggestions use its managed credits or your Anthropic key, independently of SEOPress billing.
- SEOPress AI credits do not fund FounderPostAI requests
- Local SEO health and GEO tools need no AI credits or account connection
A practical sequence
Test the integration on one post
- 01
Install and confirm the provider
Activate free Core and the SEO module alongside SEOPress. Open AI Suite → SEO health and check that “Metadata source” says SEOPress. If another provider is listed, resolve the competing SEO plugin setup before continuing.
- 02
Generate one suggestion
Connect through AI Suite → Connection and choose managed credits or your Anthropic key. On a published post, choose “Optimize with AI Suite”. Open AI Suite → SEO and compare the proposed title or description with the current value and article.
- 03
Approve and verify both places
Apply one suggestion. Reload the post editor and inspect the SEOPress field. Then open the public page, view its source, and check the title or meta description. Clear relevant page caches if the public value is stale.
- 04
Check recovery before scaling
On a test post, try “Undo this change” in the Applied tab and inspect the native field again. Undo protects newer edits; if it is blocked, review the change history. Once the workflow checks out, repeat with a free batch of ten posts.
Boundaries matter
What this workflow does not promise
- This is an integration with SEOPress, not a SEOPress product or endorsement.
- A correct public title or description does not guarantee the wording Google displays.
- Templates, caches and other extensions can affect output; verify on your own site.
Common questions
Does SEOPress already generate AI metadata?
Yes. SEOPress offers native AI metadata generation and bulk actions. Compare its current features with the review workflow you need before adding another plugin. FounderPostAI provides a separate suggestion queue; it does not replace SEOPress’s settings or use its AI credit balance.
Do I have to replace SEOPress?
No. Keep SEOPress active as the metadata provider. FounderPostAI saves approved titles and descriptions to its native fields and leaves frontend rendering to SEOPress. Confirm the detected provider in SEO health before approving your first change.
Why is the approved description missing from the public page?
First reload the SEOPress editor field. If that is wrong, check the detected provider and suggestion status. If the saved field is correct, clear page caches and inspect the public source for templates or another extension controlling output. Avoid repeatedly applying suggestions to diagnose a cache issue.
Can I try the integration without paying for Pro?
Yes. Free Core and SEO support per-post suggestions, review and repeatable ten-post batches. AI processing still needs managed credits or your Anthropic billing. Pro adds unattended whole-site runs and scheduling. The local SEO health report works without a connected AI account.
What happens if I edit the value later in SEOPress?
A later native edit takes precedence over the matching FounderPostAI mirror. Older suggestions and undo actions also check for intervening changes. Reload the public page and inspect its source after a manual edit, especially when a cache or custom metadata template is active.
